Keeping Feet Warm

“Because there’s no such thing as cold and comfortable”

Comfort Temperature Rating

How you perceive temperature depends on a variety of factors. That’s why we use the Comfort Temperature Rating as a guide for cold weather protection. Using this method, we test all our products in-house before sending them off-site to a third party for test confirmation. That way we can ensure every boot meets our strict quality standards. And our customers have a guide for choosing a boot that meets their needs.

Zylextra®

  • Comfort rated to -58°F/-50°C
  • Easy removal for washing & drying

Our proprietary Zylextra technology has four distinct layers to help keep feet warm and dry. The first layer wicks sweat away from the foot, while the next two are made up of dense felt and foam to trap body heat. The outer layer is made from a space age thermal foil that deflects cold air and reflects body heat back to the foot, providing even more warmth and moisture control. And with reinforced seams and heel guard, they’re incredibly durable.

Keeping Feet Dry

“Dry – the first step toward comfort”

Dri Defense

Using a unique design that encapsulates the foot, Kamik’s DriDefense is a proprietary bootie membrane that is completely waterproof and blocks any moisture from getting into the boot.

Seam Sealed

This technology makes boots practically impenetrable to snow and moisture without adding any extra weight to the footwear. By specially treating our leathers and nylons, then using waterproof tapes and sealants to cover every seam, it’s like feet are wrapped in a cocoon. So they stay safe and dry.
