If eligible*, you can return your item within 30 days of delivery by filling out our Return Form.
*Returned items must be unused, in original condition, and ideally in their original packaging. Return shipping fees are paid by the customer.
After 30 days, if your item has a defect, it may still be covered under our one-year warranty. Visit our Warranty page or reach out through our Contact form. See our full Return Policy here.
Kamik products are covered by a one-year limited warranty for manufacturing defects. If your boots were purchased within the last 12 months and are defective, please go to our Contact page to access the Warranty Form and submit your claim, including photos.
If accepted, our team will contact you and your product will be replaced with the same or similar style. Exchanges (sizes, colour, model) are not available through the warranty process. For full details, visit our Warranty page.
Kamik footwear fits true to size for both kids and adults, so we recommend starting with your usual size. If you’re between sizes or plan to wear thicker socks (especially with winter boots), consider sizing up for added comfort.
You can measure at home to ensure the best fit:
- Place your or your child’s heel against a wall on a sheet of paper.
- Mark the tip of the longest toe and measure the distance from heel to toe.
- Repeat for both feet and use the larger measurement.

Finding the right size helps ensure your Kamik footwear feels secure, comfortable, and ready for every adventure.
Kamik boots are designed to be waterproof, featuring seam-sealed construction and waterproof materials like synthetic rubber and waterproof suede.
To maintain their waterproof performance:
- Clean regularly with warm water and mild soap. Rinse well and air dry away from direct heat sources.
- Avoid machine washing as it can damage waterproof materials and construction.
- Regularly inspect for any wear or damage to waterproofing. Please note that if you apply a waterproofing treatment within one year of purchase, the Kamik warranty will no longer be valid for those boots.
Following these steps helps keep your Kamik boots waterproof and effective in wet conditions.
After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email. Once your package is shipped, our carrier (Canada Posts) will send you tracking emails so you can monitor your shipment.
You can also track your order directly on the Canada Posts website using the tracking number provided in these emails.

Orders & Payment
Orders on kamik.com are processed quickly, so we can’t always guarantee updates or cancellations once submitted.
- Need to cancel or adjust your order? If your order hasn’t shipped yet, contact us right away through our Contact page, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
- Entered the wrong shipping address? Get in touch as soon as possible. If the order is still in our warehouse, we’ll attempt to correct it. Once shipped, rerouting may be possible but is not guaranteed.
- Already shipped? Once you receive your package, you can return it using our Return Policy, then place a new order with the right information.
On kamik.com, products on sale or promotion are clearly marked with a special tag showing the discount or current offer. You can also visit our Outlet page to see all discounted items. Don’t forget to sign up for our newsletter to receive exclusive deals and updates on upcoming sales.
We don’t operate a Kamik retail store, but you can shop our products directly on kamik.com. Our boots and shoes are also available through many authorized retailers across Canada, both online and in-store.
If you’d like to find Kamik near you, contact us with your postal code and we’ll be happy to share the closest retail locations.
Please note that we do not take orders by phone or through social media.
Currently, kamik.com does not offer backordering for out-of-stock items. Once a product is sold out, you can sign up on the product page to be notified when it’s back in stock. Keep an eye on our website for restock updates and new arrivals.
On kamik.com, we accept most major payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All transactions are processed securely.
When you order from kamik.com and ship within Canada, applicable sales taxes are automatically calculated at checkout based on your delivery province. Provinces using Harmonized Sales Tax (HST)—such as Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island—charge a combined rate. In Quebec, both GST and QST apply. In provinces without a provincial tax, only the GST is collected.
If you see more than one charge for your order, it may be due to a temporary pre-authorization hold placed by your payment provider. This is a common security measure and usually disappears within a few business days. If the charge remains or you see more than one completed transaction, please contact your bank and reach out to us through our contact form.
Shipping & Returns
Yes! Kamik offers free standard shipping on orders over $129.99 within Canada. Please note that free shipping is not available for Nunavut, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories. Orders below $129.99 ship for $8.99.
Once your order is placed on kamik.com, our team works quickly to prepare it for shipment. Orders are typically ready to ship within 2–3 business days.
At this time we do not offer expedited shipping options.
All Canadian shipments are sent via Canada Posr ground service. Please note that transit times are approximate and not guaranteed depending on the province.

Kamik.com ships only within Canada. We do not accept orders from outside Canada on our Canadian site. For customers outside Canada, please visit our U.S. website at us.kamik.com or check with local retailers. For customers outside North America, please check with local retailers or distributors. Within Canada: Kamik.com offers standard ground shipping via Canada Post. Shipping is free on orders over $129.99, excluding Nunavut, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories. For orders under this amount, standard shipping fees apply at checkout.
Our Canadian site currently ships exclusively within Canada. Orders from outside the country aren’t accepted at this time, and P.O. Box addresses cannot be used for delivery.

If your purchase from kamik.com doesn’t meet your expectations, you can return eligible items within 30 days of delivery by completing our Return Form.
Returned products must be in new condition, unworn, and in the original packaging.
Return shipping costs are not covered by Kamik and must be paid by the customer.
Items purchased at a retail store must be returned to the original point of purchase, in line with the store’s return policy. Kamik only accepts returns for items purchased directly from kamik.com.
If your product is defective and covered by our 1-year manufacturer’s warranty, we’ll gladly offer a replacement — refunds are not available under the warranty. For details, see our Return Policy.
Once we receive your returned item and verify its condition, refunds are typically processed up to 14 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund is complete. For more details, visit our Return Policy.
We currently do not offer exchanges for online purchases. If you'd like a different size, colour, or product, please complete our Return Form and place a new order once your return is underway.
All returns must be in original condition and comply with our Return Policy.

Warranty
Kamik guarantees the quality of its products with a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for one year from the date of delivery. This warranty excludes normal wear and tear, misuse, or alterations.
If you need to submit a claim in Canada:
- Purchased from an authorized retailer? We recommend starting directly with the store where you bought your product. Many retailers accept returns and may handle warranty claims on Kamik’s behalf.
- Purchased from kamik.com? Complete the Defective form on our Contact Us page using your Kamik.com order number (starting with GFI-xxxxx).
- If the retailer cannot assist, you can also submit your claim directly through our Contact Form. Please include your receipt, a short description of the issue, and photos of the defect. Our team generally responds within 24 hours. Please expect a longer than usual response time during the busy periods from November to January..
You can find your order number in the confirmation email sent to you after your purchase on kamik.com. It’s usually at the top of the email and starts with “GFI-*****”. If you can’t find it, check your account order history or contact us via our contact form for help.
Kamik does not offer in-house repair services for its products. If your Kamik footwear is defective, please contact us via our contact form with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos. We will guide you through the warranty process. For repairs outside the warranty, we recommend consulting a local cobbler or professional repair service.
Use & Care
To remove unpleasant odour from your Kamik footwear, follow these gentle and effective steps:
- Wipe off excess moisture using a damp cloth and mild soap.
- Mix a cleaning solution of 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts cold water.
- Gently scrub the inside of the footwear with a soft brush or cloth soaked in the solution.
- Air dry completely in a well-ventilated space, away from direct heat or sunlight.
- Deodorize naturally by sprinkling baking soda inside overnight, then shake it out in the morning.
These steps help keep Kamik shoes fresh and ready for the next adventure.
We don’t recommend applying aftermarket waterproofing sprays or substances to Kamik products. These treatments may affect the performance of the original materials and will void the Kamik warranty.
All Kamik waterproof footwear is designed to perform as sold—no extra treatment needed.
To properly care for your Kamik footwear, follow these easy steps:
- Wipe the surface with a damp cloth to remove dirt.
- Gently clean using a mild, pH-neutral soap.
- If needed, wipe again with a clean damp cloth to rinse.
- Let them air dry naturally, away from direct heat sources.
Never put your Kamik footwear in the washing machine or dryer, and avoid using heating devices like dryers or radiators.
Minor scuffs on leather can often be improved at home. Here's how:
- Clean the area gently with a damp cloth and let it dry.
- Rub a small amount of leather conditioner or polish in a matching colour onto the scuff using a soft cloth.
- Buff lightly in a circular motion until the mark fades.
- Let it dry fully before wearing.
- Avoid aggressive scrubbing, which could damage the leather surface.
Regular conditioning can help prevent future scuffs and keep leather looking its best.
Yes! Kamik offers a variety of replacement boot liners for women, men, and kids. You can shop them directly on our site:
Keep in mind that each liner is made to fit specific boot styles. Choosing the wrong one may result in an uncomfortable fit. If you’d like a hand, send us a photo of your boots and we can point you to the right liners to give them a proper refresh.
If your Kamik footwear is showing signs of the sole separating, we’re here to help.
Start by submitting a warranty request using our online Warranty Form. Be sure to include photos of the issue and proof of purchase.
Our team will review your request and let you know the next steps. Please note that delamination due to normal wear and tear or improper care may not be covered under warranty.
If the hook and loop straps on your child’s Kamik footwear is no longer holding properly, we recommend reaching out via our Contact form. Our team can check if repair or replacement options are available for your model.
In the meantime, gently cleaning the hook and loop straps with a dry brush or a pin to remove lint and debris may help restore grip.
Fabric pilling is a natural result of friction on soft materials. To remove it:
- Use a fabric shaver or lint remover to gently eliminate pills.
- Avoid pulling at the fabric with your fingers, which could cause damage.
- For long-term care, store footwear in a dry place and avoid abrasive surfaces.

Depending on the situation, we’ll let you know if your issue qualifies for warranty, or suggest the best next steps. While we don’t offer in-house repair services, we’re always happy to guide you.
We offer a Recycling Program for more than 20 Kamik footwear models. To check if your boots qualify, please visit our Recycling Program. If your product is eligible, you’ll be asked to submit a request with the product name, a photo, and your shipping address.
If your boots aren’t part of the program, we recommend other ways to give your worn footwear a responsible second life:
- Check with local recycling centers for shoe drop-off programs.
- Some major retailers offer in-store shoe recycling or donation bins.
- If your boots are still usable, consider donating them to local organizations in need.
At this time, the program is limited to Kamik-branded products.
Yes! Many Kamik sandals are designed to handle water adventures. They feature quick-drying materials and durable outsoles, making them ideal for playing at the beach, running through sprinklers, or exploring wet trails.
For best results, allow them to dry completely in the open air between uses.

If you no longer see your favourite Kamik style on kamik.com, it may be out of stock or discontinued.
Some models are seasonal or offered in limited edition, so availability can vary.
